Nobody's Princess II

....They kill the boar and in a few days Helen leaves the down, departing on sea.They stop in the city of Delphi, where Apollo the sun god's shrine is. Helen meets Eunike, the Pyninth. They become friends and Eunike helps her to get on the ship for adventures with her brothers. Helen's servant Milo goes on a fisherman's boat to catch up with their brothers. They are free.
I am going to read the sequel to this, Nobody's Prize.

Nobody's Princess

This is Nobody's Princess by Esther Friesner. Really good.
Helen of Sparta is the future queen for Sparta. Unlike her sister, she wants to train with swords and go on brave and noble adventures. She finds a way to train with them dressing as a boy so the guards won't suspect. Her mother soon finds out she is training and doesn't mind. She told Helen stories of the time she was a huntress serving Artemis, the goddess of the Hunt.She teaches Helen how to hunt rabbits and deer, how she moves silently through the forest to outfox the fox and a out run the rabbit.Then the time comes when her sister goes to another place for marriage.Helen goes on the trip along with her brothers and sister and leave as quickly as possible. There, Helen had learned that the king had wanted to keep her there and will marry the youngest son of the king.They go when a messenger comes bringing news that a ferocious boar came through another place where Helen and her brother's uncle,Lord O (I can't remember some names) and their mother's sister rule. Helen stays there and learns of an amazing woman named Atalanta and she is training with the men for the hunt of the boar.Helen spies on her along with her horse and soon Atalanta offers horse lessons.(I will give you an update when I finish the book)

Thanksgiving

All these foods look like heaven for all of you,don't they. Well, lucky for the people who had Thanksgiving with me, I don't eat any of this. I eat......the rolls.Yes.Just plain rolls.Yup!I am thankful for my family,good books(Harry Potter) and my cozy,comfy bed.HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!
P.S. I suggest you should go exercise after all that Thanksgiving food!

Best book!!!!It was about two girls that learn how to survive their Uncle (power-hungry uncle) s samurai.They got to the dojo as boys and ask to train as samurai.They don't get to train but are welcomed as servants.Soon Master Goku finds out that the new servants are actually Kimi and Hana,the daughters of the old king.They explain that their uncle Hidehira betrayed their father and killed him during a tea ceremony.Master Goku promises to keep their secret and also to find Hana and Kimi's brother,Moriyasu,and their mother.Later their friend Tatsuyu finds out that their girls too.He also promises to keep their secret.Soon the day of the tournament comes and people from all over the province of Japan come.Even the new Jito (king)Kimi and Hana's Jito Hidehira.After Ken-ichi (Hana and Kimi's cousin)challenges the Master he poisons the tea they drink to slow him down.at the end of the duel he kills Master Goku.Hana and Kimi will stay as servants and find out that their mother and brother are save with their father's old friend.
