In A Harry Potter Sort of Mood.....Again

Yesterday we went to the Harry Potter exhibit at the Museum of Science in Boston.It was AMAZING!First you walked into a room with a stool and a rugged old hat and a lady.The lady had volenteers come up (me being one of them) and asked them to sit on the stool and placed the Sorting Hat on your head.The lady asked you what your favorite house was and I said Gryffindor of course (that's the house that Ron,Harry, and Hermione is in).So I got sorted into Gryffindor.Then you walk into this other dark black room and there are 8 tv screens in front of you.They all go black.Then their is and introduction to all the characters and then after that is done you a curtain drops and there is the Hogwarts express!It was really cool!Then you see portaits like at Hogwarts and some are moving!The Fat Lady was trying to brake her glass by singing (screaming more like.She is the portrait that guards Gryffindor tower).Then you walk into the dormotories that has Hermione's things (including her wand,Hogwarts robes,casual clothes,books and the Gryffidor notice board)
you also see Neville Longbottom's clothes and things like his wand an Mimbleus Mimbletonia (a cactus like plant).Then you move on to see Harry and ron's dormitory and casual clothing.You also see the chocolates that Romilda Vane tried to give to Harry but got to Ron instead and there was a love potion and everything in them.Then there was the teachers' rooms.Proffesor Lockhart had portraits and pictures of himself.You could tell even if you hadn't read the 2nd book tha he is very full of himself!There were Snape and Slughorn's robes and there were the Felix Felicis ( they call it liquid luck in the wizard world) and their wands.Then there was EVIL Professor Umbridge.All her office and all of her clothing is...PINK.She even had pink cat platters on her wall.The two things I don't really like the most:Cats and Pink.And it wasn't very pleasant looking pink either.They had the pieces of the Weasely Wizard Wheezes and the candy.The Yule Ball Section was FANTASTIC!!!! It had Hermione's dress she wore and earrings (they were selling them at the gift store for $75, which was more than her time turner!)they also had Cho Chang's dress,plus Cedric Diggory,Harry Potter,and Viktor Krum's robes.Then they had Proffesor McGonagall's and Proffesor Dumbledore's clothes from the Yule Ball.In the middle of them was Dobby!!!The last thing was Fawkes,Dumbledore's phoenix!!! Camping

On Saturday we went to Zion's Camp in Raymond,NH.
It was REALLY pretty but REALLY freezing at night.We went there for our ward camp out and we had lots of fun!!!I had about 4 or 5 s'mores!! Before we got to Zion's Camp,we stopped for dinner and some treats about 20 minutes away from Zion's Camp.The treats part smelled REALLY good.We stopped at the Chocolatier to get some chocolate.We stopped at the Loaf and Ladle for dinner and it was REALLY REALLY good.We got some of their bread to take home and it is almost gone after only 2 days.After having lots of fun at the campfire and having lots-o-s'mores,we had to go to bed in our cozy but non-heated cabin.Even though I had sweatpants,socks,and 2 blankets and more COLDNESS!!!! The breakfast was pretty good though.We left at about 9:30 because everyone was FREEZING!!!!So,next time you camp,get as warm as you possibly can,better warm then cool.And I hope you're adapting to the cold weather.(Adapting is one of the WOW words in Social Studies).

EVIL HEAD GEAR

Well,last night was my first night with my head gear.IT IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE SLEEPING WITH IT.I actually had to wake up my mom in the middle of the nigh so I could get a motrin.I did,well,it didn't really help,but I had an ice pack inext to my face though.I got a few hours of sleep.I hope you slept well!!!

My Head Gear

This,is what my head gear looks like,and yes,I have to sleep with.(Thank goodness I don't have to go to school with it though)It was a very long process,and it hurt a little bit,but,it is done.It isn't very comfortable in the neck though.Oh well.Enjoy the rest of the pictures!!!

Summer is Officially OVER!!! :(

Summer is officially over because school started and the weather is getting colder.Also,I am getting braces and the first step is putting the spacers in and they are REALLY uncomfortable.I can't eat without wincing!!!
And, the next step for braces is GETTING A HEAD GEAR!!! Luckily, though,it's only for night,but I'll probably be uncomfortable too.Finally,I am starting middle school this year in 5th grade.The school is HUGE!!! I actually got lost once.We were going to gym from orchestra and we went upstairs,then downstairs and we got lost.We went back upstairs to ask a teacher for help.We went back downstairs and found the gym,but the gym teacher said we had to get a pass because we were about 3 minutes late.So, we had to go back upstairs,then back downstairs,and it felt like we did the mile (we probably did).Then we had to run a 1/3 of a mile track,and then we had to get upstairs again.EEK!!!!On the right of the wonderful pile of books is the book we started and finished.Nothing's Fair In Fifth Grade.It's about a class of fifth graders who have a new fat girl in their class named Elsie.Next,money goes disappearing out of peoples' desks' and Elsie is blamed for it and she is guilty.She uses the money to go to a candy store after school because her mother is giving her a strict diet and she is not allowed to eat candy or anything like that,only what her mother gives her in her lunch box.Jeniffer and all the kids are starting to like Elsie.But,one baseball game,Elsie was swinging the bat and it landed in Jack's face.He went to the ER and he said he wouldn't tell Elsie off.See,Elsie was on probation,because she got expelled from her other school,so if she doesn't do anything wrong,she'll be able to say at their school.She doesn't do anything else wrong at the school for the rest of the year (except hitch-hike and she almost loses her sister)and she gets to stay!!The End!

The Haunted Sister

I just finished this book last night called the Haunted Sister by
Lael Little.It was a good book,just kinda creepy.Janice gets into a car accident and she goes to a place where a bunch of dead ghosts were and she "returned" with her sister Lenore who died.And she discovers that Lenore can control what she says and how she moves.She does Janice to do a bunch of different things,like steal a blue bracelet.The book is how Lenore is and her experiences in a real body with Janice and what Janice learns about herself.I the end,Janice learns that her actual name is Lenore and the "Lenore" inside her is Janice.Her mom tells her that they made shirts with their names on them and they didn't expect Janice and Lenore to just pick a shirt and stick with it.Somehow Lenore ("Janice") got out of the lake and Janice sank.Lenore was crying for help but they didn't get there in time.At the end,Lenore thanked Janice for remembering the truth.
