FROGGIES!!!!

My friends threw a surprise party for my birthday which is in 5 days by the way!!! Such good friends!! I was supposed to go over my friend Haley's house for just 4 hours, but was actually a sleepover.First,when I showed up, Haley said she had to take me captive. She took me inside and blindfolded me, then said she had to get something. Then, my other friend, Amaliya took me and Haley said, you can take off the blindfold now and looking me in the face was Amaliya. I screamed I was so excited!! Then they walked me over to the table and I saw presents!!! Then they told me that I was actually staying for a sleepover and told me to open the presents. I got two dwarf frogs and a snail. I named one frog Haley the II (one died in the morning.We flushed it down the toilet) and one Amaliya. The snail was named Hermione. From Amaliya I got a really pretty watch and a really pretty ring and made me a really cool keychain!!! After a while we got into our pj's and watched Neopoleon Dynamite(post to come soon). We went to bed at 10:40 and slept in until 8:20 ish. Hope this Friday is great!!! (My birthday!!!! :0)

Napoleon Dynamite

A couple days ago I watched,for the first time,Napoleon Dynamite with 2 of my best friends.We were cracking up at the part when Napoleon dances for Pedro's "skit". And me and my family watched it again Saturday night.Max started to sing the love song that Kip sang for La Fawndah at their wedding.So funny!!!We all were laughing when Napoleon tries the "time machine" of Uncle Rico's.It hurt him....a lot. The "I like your sleeves" at the dance part was pretty funny!!

This Is New Exciting News

This is a picture from the new movvie coming out from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians sereis.They are making the first movie,The Lightning Thief.I looked at the characters and some of them I FORGOT!!!!YIKES!Luckily,I decided to reread the book before it comes out next year.February 12,2010.Percy and Grover go to Yancy Academy.What Percy doesn't know is that his Greek Mythology is actually the centaur Chiron and Grover is a saytr that has fake feet.When he and his Yancy Academy classmates go to the Greek Museum for a field trip,Percy finds out that Mrs.Dodds,the pre-algebra teacher is actually a Greek monster.Chiron passes a ballpoint pen to Percy from his wheelchair(it disguises his centaur legs)Percy clicks it and suddenly becomes a sword.He slashes "Mrs.Dodds" and she becomes golden dust.When he and Grover go home for the summer Percy sees 3 ancient ladies knit three giant socks.One lady takes a giant pair of scissors and snips the cord.Grover says that this means someone will die.They hop on the Greyhound and Percy goes back home to Smelly Gabe,his horrible stepfather and he is well,smelly.He makes sure that Percy's room stinks of cigars and dirty socks.Percy and his mom,Sally Jackson,go to a beach where his mom met his real dad.Then there is a storm and Grover comes knocking on the cabin door telling them that more monsters are coming.Then Percy finds out that Grover has hooves and not feet,and that he is a demigod.He is the son of Poesidon.He goes to Camp Half Blood,the place for demigods,saytrs, and cyclopses(I'll post about the second books soon) that is safe.Then he meets a new friend,Annabeth from the Athena cabin.Then they find out that Zeus accuses Percy of stealing his lightning bolt.So he,Grover,and Annabeth start a quest to prove that Percy didn't steal his lightning bolt.They have to meet Medusa,Hades, and othere unkind creatures on the way.In the end,Zeus believes Percy that Ares stole his lightning bolt.Go to www.imdb.com for the trailers,cast, and stuff!

Camp Bourndale II

Camp Bourndale was so AWESOME!!!I was just excited about the bus ride.We got to ride in a nice coach bus with a bathroom and we even watched a movie.When we got there,we went into a gym for the "orientation speech".Then we got to our cabins and unpacked.Went to lunch,washed up in our cabins, and headed off for Plimoth Plantation.It was SOOO cool!!We got to meet pilgrims and one guy was talking about different ways they got executed.Isn't that pleasant?We talked to one lady about her and another family's cow and calf.Someone on my camera took a picture of the poop.Don't blame me I wasn't the one who did it. There was another lady that we helped get wood for the fire in her home.After the Plymouth,pilgrim part we went to the Wamponoag village. One man was making duck soup, and another guy was making a boat.They spoke in present time unlike the pilgrims so it was a little easier to talk to them.To take a picture of the pilgrim we were talking to we had to say, "May I take your portrait?" It was a little strange, but they let us go ahead and take one. Then we went into an Indian longhouse.The woman inside said that the one we were in was smaller than the average longhouse and it was pretty big.After, we were on the buses again and onto the Mayflower II. I wouldn't want to be stuck on there with 120 people!Then we moved on to Plymouth Rock.It turns out it split and while the masoners were fixing it,a small part of it came off.It turns out that one teacher in MY school has it.Isn't that cool?We were on the buses again to camp Bourndale for dinner and sleep.There was a birthday in our cabin so we got extra cake.We went to bed at 10:30.Then we got up the next morning at 6:30.We packed,brushed our teeth, and went off for breakfast.After breakfast we went to our classes. After we had lunch and were on the buses and heading home.

Cars.Cars.Cars.

So,me and my friend were sitting in their car and talking about,well,cars.My friend said she'd like a Hummer or a Porche(is that how you spell it?).Then,, my sister jumped in and said she wanted a Ferrari.Make that a cherry red Ferrari.Then I said I'd like a Hybrid or a Porche too.Hmmmm.And there is the MOVIE Cars which my brother likes a ton.Happy Halloween!!

Camp in the Middle of Fall

Camp Bourndale is a camp, obviously.Me and my fifth grade friends get to go to this camp.They give us a Thanksgiving feast and a magic show.I can't believe it!!!I am going tomorrow!You can pick different "courses" such as,Project Adventure,Ceramics,Marine Biology.In Marine Biology you get to disect a shark!EWWWW!I picked Project Adventure.You have to solve problems and do AWESOME things!!!I'll report how it was after I get back!!

In A Harry Potter Sort of Mood.....Again

Yesterday we went to the Harry Potter exhibit at the Museum of Science in Boston.It was AMAZING!First you walked into a room with a stool and a rugged old hat and a lady.The lady had volenteers come up (me being one of them) and asked them to sit on the stool and placed the Sorting Hat on your head.The lady asked you what your favorite house was and I said Gryffindor of course (that's the house that Ron,Harry, and Hermione is in).So I got sorted into Gryffindor.Then you walk into this other dark black room and there are 8 tv screens in front of you.They all go black.Then their is and introduction to all the characters and then after that is done you a curtain drops and there is the Hogwarts express!It was really cool!Then you see portaits like at Hogwarts and some are moving!The Fat Lady was trying to brake her glass by singing (screaming more like.She is the portrait that guards Gryffindor tower).Then you walk into the dormotories that has Hermione's things (including her wand,Hogwarts robes,casual clothes,books and the Gryffidor notice board)
you also see Neville Longbottom's clothes and things like his wand an Mimbleus Mimbletonia (a cactus like plant).Then you move on to see Harry and ron's dormitory and casual clothing.You also see the chocolates that Romilda Vane tried to give to Harry but got to Ron instead and there was a love potion and everything in them.Then there was the teachers' rooms.Proffesor Lockhart had portraits and pictures of himself.You could tell even if you hadn't read the 2nd book tha he is very full of himself!There were Snape and Slughorn's robes and there were the Felix Felicis ( they call it liquid luck in the wizard world) and their wands.Then there was EVIL Professor Umbridge.All her office and all of her clothing is...PINK.She even had pink cat platters on her wall.The two things I don't really like the most:Cats and Pink.And it wasn't very pleasant looking pink either.They had the pieces of the Weasely Wizard Wheezes and the candy.The Yule Ball Section was FANTASTIC!!!! It had Hermione's dress she wore and earrings (they were selling them at the gift store for $75, which was more than her time turner!)they also had Cho Chang's dress,plus Cedric Diggory,Harry Potter,and Viktor Krum's robes.Then they had Proffesor McGonagall's and Proffesor Dumbledore's clothes from the Yule Ball.In the middle of them was Dobby!!!The last thing was Fawkes,Dumbledore's phoenix!!!
