Me and Haley have been working very hard on our costume this year. And it's awesome. Haley made our shirts (mine says Haley with an arrow pointing to Haley, Haley's says Abby with an arrow pointing to me) and we both worked viciously on the balloon. The balloons, the star of the show were the last thing to go on because they would deflate over night and that would NOT be good. But here's the thing that bugs me: When we went into this we thought our costume would be obvious; a hot air balloon. BUT, however some people did NOT KNOW what we are, ummm hello??? Have you NOT watched the Wizard of Oz??? OH well. We told Haley's mom when we were circling the parking lot (TRUNK-or-treat) around for the second round of candy and she said those people were crazy. Yes, yes they are. But Samantha's (my... sister)friend was Dorothy and we took a picture of the hot air balloon with her(we weren't in it at the time):

Her name is Olivia. That's me in the corner there with the blue shirt and the little dude in the orange is Olivia's brother Jaxson. So that was fun. AND I have a new baby COUSIN!!!! Her name is Chloe Lynn Creer (my mum's side of the family). She is soooooooooooo cute!!! PLUS, I got another new book, it's by the same author of Percy Jackson and it's called The Lost Hero:

Lost Hero

It's really good!!! It's about Jason (named after the Greek hero Jason-son of Zeus-god of the gods and weather pretty much)Piper(daughter of Aphrodite, goddess of love beauty all that mushy stuff)and Leo(son of Hephaestus, god of fire and tools and building stuff). They are called on a quest to rescue Hera; queen of the gods and Zeus's wife from a prison. First (which is the part I'm at) Piper, Jason, and Leo have to go find the god of the North Wind, Boreas, in Quebec, Canada. They meet his two sons Lethes and Cal, and Boreas' one daughter, Khione. That's pretty much where I'm at!!! Oh well. Happy Halloween!!!!

My Costume

So, me and my friend Haley are being a Hot Air Balloon this year. Yes. A hot air balloon. It's been really fun to make so far and it's going to be AWESOME when it's done. It's supposed to look like this when it's done:

Ours is going to look similar to that one. We doubled the box so we could both fit in and we kept the top part about the same size. We still need to add balloons and decorate the day before (today) the party!  I will definitely post pictures!!! It's almost done and it's looking GREAT!! Me and Haley are going to have matching t-shirts and yeah. Okay, so if the hot air balloon's doubled from the picture, I'll be standing on the left, and Haley will be in the hot air balloon on the right. So like this:

By the way, the line of box thing is where the two boxes are separated. Then there's this piece of cardboard that's like the top of the balloon and that's where we'll attach HELIUM BALLOONS. Helium is very important. And, if your going to make this AWESOME costume (try to look as AWESOME as me and Haley in it) you need LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF...... DUCT TAPE! That's all I have to say. The pictures will come this week/weekend because the PARTAY is tomorrow night!

New Books

I am known to read a number of books at the same time. Yeah, it's a little weird, but I can manage! Here are some of the books I'm reading right now and I'm about 10-15 pages into each, so I'll give a summary of each as best I can. Here:

Maximum Ride is about Maximum Ride and her "family". They're not really her family because they are all accidents. Scientists wanted to make a mutated type-thing and Maximum and others appear. They can fly. And yeah. That's kind of all I get into, except Maximum's sister gets taken by these werewolf (it's not described as Taylor Lautner- the complete opposite actually). So that's a book.

Bree Tanner is a vampire (the evil ones, but she's not that evil) that shows up in Eclipse, the third book of the Twilight saga. The story begins when her, a vampire named Diego, and some other vampires go hunting. They drink human's blood and everything. Disgusting, yes. Then Diego and Bree get annoyed by the other two vampires and head to the mall to get Bree a book and Diego a CD. Finally they go back to where Reilly, the head vampire,  and the other vampires who didn't go hunting live. They see it's destroyed so they go to a cave, underwater, and wait until the sun is gone. That's all I can give for this one.

I actually finished this one. The book is in four parts: Walk, jog, lope, and gallop. Maya lives with her grandmother and she is very strict. Grandmother allows no fun, no nothing. Maya takes swimming lessons for safety, because her grandmother thought she would drown in the bathtub, or IN A PUDDLE. But one morning, her grandmother was acting strangely and happened to have a stroke. She died. So, Maya is sent to her other grandfather, Moose. He lives in Wyoming with his dog, Golly, and Maya's Uncle Fig. Aunt Vi and Maya's cousin Payton live on a camp where Maya goes a couple days after she arrives at Moose and Fig's place. Soon Maya is on a horse learning how to ride. But one day she sees Artemisia, her mother's old horse wandering around. Aunt Vi, Payton, Moose, and Fig are gone, but she decides to try to get Artemisia back to the camp. While she's with Artemisia, they are in the middle of an earthquake. Maya brakes her leg and a mountain lion soon comes. Artemisia protects herself and Maya though. Soon Maya and Artemisia wander back towards the camp and hear Aunt vi's guitar and find Payton, Moose, Fig, and Aunt Vi. They get her back to the camp with a cast, and while it heals she stays with Moose and Fig. Finally she goes back to the camp and lets Artemisia go back to the wild. she belongs there.

Halloween

YES! Halloween is here! But it's on a Sunday!!!! Which stinks! I really hate when Halloween is on those days! Oh well. You've still got the Trunk-or-Treat at church! This year my friend Haley and I are being a hot air balloon. Yes, a hot air balloon! We had the original idea to be Dorothy in the hot air balloon... but we decided not to.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays for sooo many reasons! The decorations, the costumes, the candy(of course)! My favorite has to be the decorations though. Around here people get crazy. I'm talking sound effects, flashing lights, millions of cobwebs, creepy-crawlies, cauldrons, pumpkins, Frankensteins, vampires (ugh), tombstones, skeletons and zombies. Plus sooo much more!


There's a town near mine that is crazy 2 months before Halloween even starts. You might have heard of it, it's called Salem. There's a Salem Witch Museum there and all the people start dressing up, decorate and everything else in August! And then there are fairs (Topsfield Fair) that are fun around here. And the trees are really pretty when the leaves change color too. Anyway, here are some Halloween-ish pictures:

Projects, Shaving Cream, and Harry Potter (once again)

This week has been kinda weird. Yes, weird. On Monday at school we went to the IMAX theater at Jordan's then to Prince Pizza. At Imax we saw Across the Sea of Time, which was incredibly boring and confusing. Confusing meaning first in the early 1900s, then to the 80s (how did I know the 80s? the MUSIC) then back to the 1900s, fast-forward to the 1920s, then back to the 80s, then to the 20s, then all over again. See that's what I mean by confusing!!! Then on Tuesday we just hung out and did fun things at school. All this week other people went to this thing called Nature's Classroom for a week, so we get to do fun things all week. So on Tuesday we made pinatas and silly putty. And then yesterday we went to the Lake and we made this bead-thingy:

 And of course I chose Harry Potter and yeah. And then after lunch we played Wii... one of our teachers has a Wii. And then watched National Treasure: Book of Secrets. We're finishing that tomorrow. And today we went to the Museum of Science which was okay. We did experiments and learned about bio-molecules and yeah. And then tomorrow we're going to the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. Yup. And then last Sunday I made cookies and this time I have pictures of the product!

They were pretty good if I do say so myself! And today my mom asked me to empty the toilets.... and in the bathroom one I found this (it's nothing absolutely disgusting it's actually kinda funny):

Shaving Cream. Yes, shaving cream. I was nervous emptying the trash that it would all stay in there. But luckily it didn't! And yesterday GUESS WHAT?!?!?! A new Harry Potter seven Part1 TRAILER came out!!!!  Here's the link if you totally want to see it now that I've told you:
