Growing Pains and Books

The past few nights I've been having growing pains...really bad ones. I HATE growing pains. Especially at night! They kept me up and it's NOT fun!

Anyway, I officially started the Red Pyramid also by Rick Riordan, author of the Percy Jackson series. The Red Pyramid is about Sadie and Carter, who are descendants of ancient pharohs from Egypt. So, their dad visits Carter's brother Sadie, in England (they got split up after their mom's death, so their dad can only see Sadie 2 days per year) and they go to the British Museum. Later they are told that their father was trying to summon an Egyptian god, Osirius, Lord of the Dead. So it turns out he actually releases 5 of the most powerful gods and godesses. And there's this really bad one called Set. So he trapped their dad, so their uncle, Amos, takes them to his mansion for protection from Set, but when he leaves to do something, a monster comes to attack them and so their cat turns into an Egyptian goddess, Bast, the goddess of cats. She "kills" the animal and they go to a magician training center-kind of. They meet Zia, and she's their teacher of training. To where I am now: They go to Graceland, because Thoth (like Athena in Greek mythology) has a special thing (I forgot) they have to get. Two other, evil, magicians come to Graceland and so Sadie makes the Elvis suits attack them. It was pretty funny!!! So they defeat those guys and get the thing. And Thoth tells them how to defeat Set before the Demon Days are over. And that's where I am. THE END.
