Why the End of Summer?

If you had
to pick summer or school? What would it be?Although I like school,summer is AWESOME!!Sleeping in,going to the beach or pool,having friends over and staying up late!WHY?WHY?WHY?Does summer have to end?
Anyway, we had to read at least 2 books on the 5th grade reading list,and I wanted to try Year Down Yonder by Richard Peck.OH MY GOODNESS!!!!You MUST read this book.It is funny,cool,everything and it even takes place in the early 1900's?(I read the book a long time ago.Now I forget things)Well,15 year-old Mary alice goes to live with her CRAZY grandmother for 2 years and gets an adventure out of it.Here is one "Crazy Grandma" funny part.So,there is a very wise old guy that told Mary Alice's grandma,that she could have any pecan that fell from his pecan tree.So,because of that promise,she got a tractor and drove right into the tree and it was raining pecans!!!"He said whatever fell was mine!"Grandma said!

Another funny part:There is this bully girl in Mary Alice's school that has the dirtiest horse in town and came with to Grandma's house.Grandma said,while Mary Alice and the girl were in the kitchen,"Let me go get some jam for ya." Mary Alice noticed that Grandma wasn't going to get some jam,she was going for the girl's horse.Soon enough,Mary noticed that the girl's horse was gone!The girl had to walk home.I guess Grannys' just don't like dirty people with dirty horses in their house!!

Sorry....Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix + Movie

Okay,on the right is obviously Harry Potter 5 the movie and on the bottom is obviously Harry Potter 5 book.I am in the middle of re-reading Harry Potter 5 and at the part when Harry,Hermione,and the Weasly's are staying at 12 Grimmauld Place(Harry's godfather Sirius Black owns the house)and Harry FINALLY stops feeling guilty of something he thinks he did but he didn't.The scar that Harry has has a connection to Voldemort and his emotions and some of his sights,and voldemort's snake attacked Arthur
Weasly and he is in St.Mungos (the hospital for all witch/or wizard injuries).And,Harry,Hermione,and Ron organize a Dumbledore's Army(the picture next to Harry Potter 5 movie poster)
because an evil toad Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is not even teaching them Defense!
Harry teaches about 20 people in the Room of Requirement.The Room of Requirement only shows up if you really need it.For example,if you needed a room that holds 20 people for teaching defense,and you walk past a wall on the 7th floor 3 times and think what you need,then a door with a brass handle and inside,the things you need will be there and as long as nobody is a blabbermouth about Dumbledore's Army,then nobody will know.I hope you guys are having a great summer...sorry about the writing,I can't type all of a sudden!!!So,yeah

The Mysterious Benidict Society

I finished the Mysterious Benidict Society a long time ago,but it's REALLY good.I'd recommend it to even adults!!!Mr.Benidict (hence the name the Mysterious Benidict Society)hold tests to see which 4 children he will send on a VERY important mission.Reynie(Reynold) Muldoon,Kate Wehrall,Sticky(George)Washington,and Constance Contraire make it to the last test,they pass it and then,they are involved in the mission.Mr.Cutain (Mr.Benisict's long-lost twin) has an Institute for the Enlightened,and Constance,Reynie,Sticky,and Kate must go there to see what Mr.Curtain is plotting to do, and he has a whisperer that whispers good but evil thoughts to those who go in it.Reynie and Sticky become Messengers(people who go INTO the whisperer and kind of feed the things that the whisperer has to say into other people's minds,very creepy if I had those messages pouring into my brain!!!)The thoughts are good but evil at the same time.He's trying to get everyone to be his evil minion(sort of) and help the worl listen to him to be "happier".Well,to make a long story short,the kids stop Mr.Curtain from his first attempt.But,Mr.Curtain's still out there!(Read all about it in the Mysterious Benidict Society and the Perilous Journey!)See ya! :o)

Jade Green:A Ghost Story

One of the books I am now reading is called Jade Green.I am not very far into it,but it's very good.Judith Sparrow goes to her Uncle's house because her parents dies and meets Emma Hastings the cook who makes delicious food and Charles,her 40-year-old cousin!On the way there,she sits up with the driver of the wagon and talks to him,but when they reach the house,he quickly gets her luggage and leaves.Why is that?Because earlier in their drive the driver said the place was....HAUNTED!!!Judith doesn't know for sure that it's haunted,but the driver sure was scared.I can't wait to see what happens next!!!

I just finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone,still proceeding through the diary of Anne Frank,and going to start on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets!So,yeah.Oh yeah!I just got back from the Berkshires and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!The pool was PERFECT and so was everything else.We played the Wii a lot,and swam in the pool most of the time,the 2nd to last day dad was played tennis for maybe 1 1/2 hours and when he came in was SOAKED with sweat!And the bed were REALLY comfy too.I hope that I can go back again next year!!!This is the real,so,yeah!! :)

Anne Frank:The Diary of a Young Girl

I started Anne Frank:The Diary of a Young Girl 2 days ago.It's REALLY good so far.Her and her family along with the Van Daan family are at their secret hiding place and are living there.Anne writes about little fights between her parents,Mrs.Van Daan and Mrs.Frank,Mr. and Mrs.Van Daan and their son,Peter Van Daan.
One time,on Mrs.Van Daan's birthday,Peter and Anne dressed up in each others' clothes!Anne dressed up in Peter's suit,and Peter dressed up in one of Mrs.Van Daan's narrow dresses!!!She says the meal was REALLY good on Mrs.Van Daan's birthday!She also says that some of their Jewish friends go to a camp,some women and even girls there expecting babies.And at their hiding place they each have a "wash place" because they have no warm water,so they have to use cold water to wash with.But,sometimes they have warm water,so they take turns using the "luxury" is what she calls it.I can't wait till I finish the reast of the book!So,yeah.

The Bed

This is something like me and Samantha's daybed.The wood on ours is white and the sheets are blue,green,yellow,and white.

I HATE to get out of bed even if it's about 10:00 in the morning.But sometimes,my sister Samantha wakes me up BEFORE 7:00.And no matter how many times I tell her not to,she does :(.And Max is lucky because he either wakes up himself (at like,6:00 in the morning)or comes down with mom.

Plus,the alarm clock rings and it's hard to go back to sleep after that.But,when I searched the picture for this alarm clock I found the Darth Vader alarm clock (mom would LOVE this)
so yeah.
