I just finished it and it's really good.I don't think I'll finish reading the series because I think it's almost EXACTLY like Harry Potter.They even have Prefects in Charlie Bone and so does Harry Potter.(In the 5th Harry Potter book Hermione and Ron become prefects).Well,anyway,Charlie finds out he can read pictures sort of.He can hear the people in the pictures,I guess.
He was supposed to have a picture of his friend's dog,but instead of Runner Bean (the dog's name)he gets a picture of a man with a baby.That was when he found out he can hear people in the pictures.When his Yew Beam aunts find out(they are weird and scary described by the book)they give him some sort of test(a really easy one I can't remember what kind).Then they say he must go to St.Bloor's Academy.His friend,Benjamin(the owner of Runner Bean) says that Bloor's is for really brilliant people.It's because Charlie is "endowed"(endowed means that he has a special gift to hear pictures and stuff)so he can study at special places and is treated pretty special.So,the picture that he had of the man and the baby,he had to return it to a Mrs.Inkwell.Then he finds out that the baby in the picture is one of his fellow students at Bloor's,Emilia Moon.Her real name was Emma Tolly and the Bloor's betrayed her Uncle,Dr.Tolly or something.So the night the Bloor's took her to the Moon's,she began to fly.Later,the Bloor's excepted her into their school.She was put as one of the endowed,and SHE doesn't even know why...because,Dr.Bloor's son can kind of hypnotize people and make them forget things.So the night Emma Tolly flew,he probably hypnotized her so she couldn't remember that night.But,Dr.Tolly made a special box to "wake her up"of the spell.Charlie and his Bloor's friends find the box,get Emilia,and press the letters on the side of the box.Emilia,or Emma,wakes up!But when Dr.Bloor finds out and comes to get Charlie and Emma,Emma flies again and it's the end of a Bloor's Academy year and Charlie goes home grateful for what he has done.The End.whew!
